Rail trail

Rail trail
On the  24 March my class did the rail trail. The trail was twenty three kilometres. We practiced by going with

The trip itself started at 9.30am when we left the car park to head towards Little River. When we got to the start we had to wait for half an hour before we could start the trip.

The start was pretty smooth. It started with a view  to the east of hills and forest and to the west a lake filled with toxic algae. I was moving along smoothly but eventually I got worn down by heat. Believe me it is much harder to pedal when you are sweating with a jacket on. After a while all I saw was sheep and the road for half an hour then I came up to this hill. That was the halfway mark.

We had lunch and had  a good look at Lake Ellesmere and had some lunch we waited around chatted and after awhile we finally got back riding. The ride to the end was pretty much the same except no nice start. It was hot the entire way until the end. It felt great to get my backpack off.

The ride back to school was short and once we got back I felt much better.the rail trail  was a fun and difficult experience, below is a picture of me at the halfway mark with my friends eating lunch.IMG_1604.jpg
